Recent sale : Chatham Lodging Trust

Sold all my shares in Chatham Lodging Trust (NYSE:CLDT) at $13.76 per share. Chatham has suspended dividends early 2020 and has not resumed then yet by now. Got tired of waiting dividend reinstatement and decided to sell. Chatham has also lagged in profits and I needed some tax deductions for next year.

Lets keep monitoring and wait until they start paying dividends again.

Dividend increase #47 of 2021 : Dominion Energy

The board of directors of Dominion Energy (NYSE: D) today approved a 2022 dividend of $2.67 per share of common stock, a 6% increase above the 2021 dividend rate of $2.52 per share. Subject to board declaration in January, the first quarterly dividend of 66.75 cents per share will be payable in March 2022.

Dividend increase #46 of 2021 : Realty Income Corporation

Realty Income Corporation (Realty Income, NYSE: O), The Monthly Dividend Company^®, today announced its Board of Directors has declared an increase in the company's common stock monthly cash dividend to $0.2465 per share from $0.246 per share.

 The dividend is payable on January 14, 2022 to shareholders of record as of January 3, 2022. This is the 114th dividend increase since Realty Income's listing on the NYSE in 1994. The ex-dividend date for January's dividend is December 31, 2021. The new monthly dividend represents an annualized dividend amount of $2.958 per share as compared to the current annualized dividend amount of $2.952 per share.

Dividend increase #45 of 2021 : W.P. Carey Inc.

W. P. Carey Inc. (NYSE: WPC) reported today that its Board of Directors increased its quarterly cash dividend to $1.055 per share, equivalent to an annualized dividend rate of $4.22 per share. The dividend is payable on January 14, 2022 to stockholders of record as of December 31, 2021. This is a 0.29% increase over the dividend for previous quarter.

WPC dividend increases are small but it's good that they come every quarter. 

Dividend increase #44 of 2021 : Enbrigde Inc.

Enbridge Inc. (TSX: ENB) (NYSE: ENB) (Enbridge or the Company) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly dividend of $0.860 per common share, payable on March 1, 2022 to shareholders of record on February 15, 2022. The declared dividend represents a three percent increase from the prior quarterly rate and the twenty-seventh consecutive year in which the Company has increased its common share dividend.

Since I own 50 shares of ENB this change will increase my 12 month forward dividends by CAD 5.00

Vermillion Energy announced plans to reinstate dividend next year

Vermillion Energy announced plans to reinstate a $0.06 per share quarterly dividend commencing in Q1 2022. Return of capital framework will be a staged approach that will increase over time as further debt targets are achieved while retaining the flexibility to adjust when necessary. The Corrib Acquisition will significantly enhance the company's FCF profile and ability to return additional capital to shareholders.

Good that dividend gets reinstated. Low figures though and changed to quarterly but progress anyway.

Dividend increase #43 of 2021 : Royal Bank of Canada

Royal Bank of Canada (TSX: RY) (NYSE: TSX) announced today that its board of directors has declared an increase to its quarterly common share dividend of twelve cents or eleven per cent, to $1.20 per share, payable on and after February 24, 2022, to common shareholders of record at the close of business on January 26, 2022.

Since I own 26 shares this change will increase my 12 month forwards dividends by CAD 12.48

Today, November 30th the Board of Directors of Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS) announced a quarterly dividend increase of from CA$ 0.90 to CA$ 1.00 per share that’s payable January 27, 2022 to holders of record January 4, 2022. This represents an 11.1% increase over the last quarterly dividend. 

Since I own 39 shares of Bank of Nova Scotia, this change will increase my 12 month forward dividends by CAD 15.60

Realty Income Corporation (Realty Income, NYSE: O), The Monthly Dividend Company^®, today announced its Board of Directors has declared an increase in the company's common stock monthly cash dividend to $0.246 per share from $0.236 per share. The dividend is payable on December 15, 2021 to shareholders of record as of December 1, 2021. This is the 113th dividend increase since Realty Income's listing on the NYSE in 1994. The ex-dividend date for December's dividend is November 30, 2021. The new monthly dividend represents an annualized dividend amount of $2.952 per share as compared to the current annualized dividend amount of $2.832 per share.

Realty Income Corporation completes spin-off of Orion Office REIT

Realty Income Corporation (Realty Income, NYSE: O), The Monthly Dividend Company^®, today announced it has completed the spin-off of substantially all of its office assets into a new independent, publicly traded REIT called Orion Office REIT Inc. ("Orion"). Orion is listed on the New York Stock Exchange ("NYSE") under the symbol "ONL." 

 Under the terms of the spin-off, Realty Income stockholders received one share of Orion common stock for every ten shares of Realty Income common stock held as of the record date of November 2, 2021. Realty Income common stockholders will receive cash in lieu of any fractional shares they would otherwise have been entitled to receive in the distribution.

Dividend increase #40 of 2021 : SFL Corporation

SFL Corporation Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.18 per share. The dividend will be paid on or around December 29, to shareholders on record as of December 15, and the ex-dividend date on the New York Stock Exchange will be December 14, 2021. 

This is a nice 20% increase over the previous quarter dividend and this change will increase my 12 month forward dividends by $24.36

Vermillion Energy dividend to be reinstated on Q1/2022

Vermillion Energy (TSE:VET) announced a plan to reinstate a dividend in Q1 2022. Although it is still subject to board approval, their intention is to reinstate a fixed quarterly dividend (5-10% of FFO stress-tested at lower prices including US$55/bbl WTI) while continuing to focus on debt reduction. As further debt targets are achieved they will consider augmenting their return of capital through fixed dividend increases, share buybacks and/or special dividends. More info will be provided with more details on return of capital framework with formal 2022 budget release in early December.

Dividend for previous quarter was $0.3162 so this is a nice 3.54% increase. Since I own 150 shares of Telus Corporation which change will increase my 12 month forward dividends by CAD 6.72

Dividend increase #38 of 2021 : Canadian Natural Resources

Canadian Natural Resources Limited (TSX: CNQ) (NYSE: CNQ) announces that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend on its common shares of C$0.5875 (fifty-eight and three quarter cents) per common share. The dividend will be payable on January 5, 2022 to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 10, 2021.

This is a 25% increase over the previous quarter dividend. Since I own 28 shares of Canadian Natural Resources, this change will increase my 12 month forward dividends by CAD 13.16

Emerson Electric continues streak by announcing 65th year of consecutive increased quarterly dividends per share. Declared increase of quarterly cash dividend to $0.515 per share of common stock payable December 10, 2021 to stockholders of record November 12, 2021.
