Dividend increase #2 of 2026 : Nordea Bank

Nordea's Board of Directors has proposed a dividend of EUR 0.96 per share for 2025, compared with EUR 0.94 per share for 2024. 

Additionally, the Board has proposed the distribution of a mid-year dividend in 2026, corresponding to approximately 50% of the net profit for the first half of 2026. Nordea is moving into bi-annual dividend payments and a nice way to do it so that we are getting another dividend already this year.

New purchase : Community Healthcare Trust Inc.

Started new position in portfolio by purchasing 125 shares of Community Healthcare Trust Inc. (NYSE:CHCT) at $16.97 per share. Community Healthcare Trust pays dividend quarterly and my starting yield of cost is 11.19%

Dividend increase #1 of 2026 : Canadian Utilities

Canadian Utilities Limited (TSE:CU) declares CAD 0.4623/share quarterly dividend. Dividend is payable on March 1st for shareholders of record on February 5th0. Ex-dividend date is on Februaru 5th. This is a 1% increase over the dividend of previous quarter. Small change is better than no change.

Nordea plans to change to bi-annual dividend payments

Nordea plans to change to bi-annual dividend payments during 2026. Plan is to pay 60-70% of the profit in dividends twice a year. First payment installment would be after half year status in end of July or early August. Second payment installment would be after annual general meeting, i.e. in March or April.

Lets see how this affects the dividend payment for this year.
