Recent sale : Mowi ASA

Norway changed the taxation of dividends for foreign investors. Seemed too time consuming to start filling forms to collect extra taxes afterwords, so I decided to sell all my Mowi ASA shares.

Sold 67 shares at 199.55 NOK per share.

My profit from Mowi ASA sale was 297.17€. And in addition to that, Mowi ASA has paid 119.20€ dividends.

Total profit: 416.37€  (40% profit to invested amount, excellent)

Main Street Capital Corporation increases dividend

HOUSTON, Feb. 27, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Main Street Capital Corporation (NYSE: MAIN) ("Main Street") is pleased to announce that its Board of Directors declared regular monthly cash dividends of $0.20 per share for each of April, May and June 2019.  These monthly dividends, which will be payable pursuant to the table below, total $0.60 per share for the second quarter of 2019 and represent a 5.3% increase from the regular monthly dividends paid for the second quarter of 2018 and a 2.6% increase from the regular monthly dividends declared for the first quarter of 2019.

Since its October 2007 initial public offering, Main Street has periodically increased the amount of its regular monthly dividends paid per share and has never reduced its regular monthly dividend amount per share.  Including all dividends declared to date, Main Street will have paid $25.42 per share in cumulative cash dividends since its October 2007 initial public offering at $15.00 per share.

Bank of Nova Scotia increases dividend

Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS) announced a CAD $0.02 increase to quarterly dividend. New quarterly dividend amount is CAD $0.87.

Since I own 29 shares of BNS this increase will add CAD $2.32 to my 12 month forward dividends

Added 25 shares of Nordea at 7.778€ per share. I now hold 300 shares of Nordea

Royal Bank of Canada increases dividend

TORONTO , Feb. 22, 2019 /CNW/ - Royal Bank of Canada (RY on TSX and NYSE) announced today that its board of directors has declared an increase to its quarterly common share dividend of four cents , or four per cent, to $1.02 per share, payable on and after May 24, 2019 , to common shareholders of record at the close of business on April 25, 2019

The Coca-Cola Company increases dividend

Yesterday the Board of Directors of The Coca-Cola Company announced a quarterly dividend increase of from $ 0.39 to $ 0.40 per share that’s payable April 1, 2019 to holders of record March 15, 2019. This represents a 2.56% increase to regular quarterly dividends. 

The board authorized a new share repurchase program for 150 million additional shares of the company’s common stock. The program will take effect at the conclusion of the company’s current program.

With current price $45.86 (yesterday's close), this raise brings their dividend yield to 3.49%. 

Lazard declares extra dividend

Lazard Ltd (LAZ) today announced that its Board of Directors has voted to declare dividends totaling $0.94 per share, comprised of a quarterly dividend of $0.44 per share and an extra cash dividend of $0.50 per share, on its outstanding Class A common stock. The dividends are payable on March 1, 2019 to stockholders of record on February 15, 2019.

Sampo increases dividend

Sampo board proposes dividend 2.85€ per share to be paid from year 2018. Last year dividend was 2.60€ so this is a 9.6% increase in dividends

Since I own 21 shares of SAMPO this change will increase my 12 month forward dividends by 5.25€

Nordea increases dividend

Nordea board proposes dividend of 0.69€ per share. This is a small increase from previous years 0.68€ per share. Since I own 275 shares of Nordea, this change will increase my 12 month forward dividends by 2.75€

New Purchase : Lazard Ltd

Started new position in portfolio. Purchased 15 shares of Lazard Ltd (LAZ) at $41.17 per share.

Lazard Ltd, incorporated on October 25, 2004, is a financial advisory and asset management company. The Company operates through two segments: Financial Advisory and Asset Management. The Company serves a range of clients around the world, including corporations, governments, institutions, partnerships and individuals. The Company operates through North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, the Middle East, and Central and South America

LAZ pays dividends with a 2-5-8-11 schedule and they had paid a special dividend many times within the first annual dividend payment. Exception to this schedule comes this year as LAZ pays first quarterly dividend on 1st of March

Oasis Midstream Partners LP increases dividend

HOUSTON, Feb. 5, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Oasis Midstream Partners LP (NYSE: OMP) ("Oasis Midstream" or the "Partnership") today declared a quarterly cash distribution of $0.45 per unit for the fourth quarter of 2018. The distribution will be paid on February 28, 2019, to all OMP unitholders of record at the close of business February 15, 2019. The quarterly cash distribution is 5% higher than the cash distribution declared for the third quarter of 2018, and is in line with the Partnership's 20% annualized distribution growth target.

Stora Enso increases dividend

Stora Enso board proposes dividend of 0.50€ per share. Last year Stora Enso paid 0.41€ per share dividend so this make it as 21.95% increase. Pretty good.

Since I own 175 shares of Stora Enso, this change will increase my 12 month forward dividends by 15.75€
