Bank of Nova Scotia increases dividend

Prospect Capital decreases dividend
- $0.06 per share for September 2017 to September 29, 2017 record holders with October 19, 2017 payment date; and
- $0.06 per share for October 2017 to October 31, 2017 record holders with November 22, 2017 payment date.
These distributions mark Prospect’s 110th and 111th consecutive cash distributions to shareholders.
Based
on the declarations above, Prospect’s closing stock price of $7.13 at
August 25, 2017 delivers to shareholders a 10.1% dividend yield.
This is a 28% decrease, disappointing but it was expected

Marine Harvest ASA increases dividend
Marine Harvest ASA (MHG.OL) declared dividend NOK 3.20 for Q3. Dividend for previous quarter was NOK 3.00 so this is a 6.67% increase in quarterly dividend.
Since I own only 20 shares of MHG.OL this increases my 12 month forward dividends by so little that I do not even want to count it :) Well, MHG.OL position was just started and will be increased during coming months/years

Royal Bank of Canada dividend increased
Today the Board of Directors of Royal Bank of Canada announced a
quarterly dividend increase of from CA$ 0.87
to CA$ 0.91 per share that’s payable November 24, 2017 to holders of record October 26, 2017. This represents a 9.64 % increase over the fourth quarter
2016 dividend of CA$ 0.83 per share and a 4.60 %
increase over for the second quarter 2017 of CA$ 0.87 per share. With current price CA$ 92.01 (yesterday's close), this raise
brings
their
dividend yield to 3.96%.

New purchase : Marine Harvest ASA

Marine Harvest ASA is a Norway-based company engaged in the production and marketing of seafood. The Company operates within three segments, namely Feed, Farming, and Sales and Marketing. The Feed segment is responsible for production of fish feed. The Farming segment manages the Company's farming activities in Norway, Scotland, Canada, Chile, Ireland and the Faroe Islands. The Sales segment comprises the global sales organization.
MHG.OL pays dividend quarterly with 3-6-9-11 schedule and my starting yield on cost is around 7.6%

Main Street Capital Corporation dividend increase

Since its October 2007 initial public offering, Main Street has periodically increased the amount of its regular monthly dividends paid per share, and has never reduced its regular monthly dividend amount per share. Including all dividends declared to date, Main Street will have paid $21.115 per share in cumulative cash dividends since its October 2007 initial public offering at $15.00 per share.
Alliance Resource Partners dividend increase

approved a cash distribution to unitholders for the quarter ended June 30, 2017 (the "2017 Quarter") of $0.50 per unit (an annualized rate of $2.00 per unit), payable on August 14, 2017 to all ARLP unitholders of record as of close of trading on August 7, 2017.
The announced distribution reflects an increase of 14.3% compared to the distributions declared for the quarters ended June 30, 2016 (the "2016 Quarter") and March 31, 2017 (the "Sequential Quarter").
