Today the Board of Directors of Bank of Nova Scotia announced a quarterly dividend increase of from CA$ 0.72 to CA$ 0.74 per share that’s payable October 27, 2016 to holders of record October 4, 2016. This represents a 5.71 % increase over the fourth quarter 2015 dividend of CA$ 0.70 per share and a 2.78 % increase over for the second quarter 2016 of CA$ 0.72 per share.
With current price CA$ 68.86 (yesterday's close), this raise brings their dividend yield to 4.30%.
