New purchase : CapMan Oyj

 Initiated new domestic position in portfolio by acquiring 250 shares of CapMan Oyj (CAPMAN.HE). 

CapMan Oyj is a Finland-based holding company for investment and specialized asset management group. The Company has two operating segments: Management Company & Services business and Investment business. In its Management Company & Services business, the Company manages private equity funds that are invested by its partnership-based investment teams. Targets for investments are Nordic and Russian mainly unlisted companies and Nordic real estate. Also, the Company offers fund advisory services, fundraising advisory and procurement services. Through its Investment business, the Company invests from its own balance sheet in the private equity asset class and listed markets in a diversified manner. Targets for investments in this segment are mainly own funds and Nordic growth companies.

 CapMan Oyj pays dividend twice a year, in March and September and my staring yield on cost is around 4.44%

Dividend increase #23 of 2021 : Altria Group

Altria Increases Quarterly Dividend by 4.7% to $0.90 Per Share

Altria Group, Inc. (Altria) (NYSE: MO) today announced that its Board of Directors voted to increase Altria’s regular quarterly dividend by 4.7% to $0.90 per share versus the previous rate of $0.86 per share. The quarterly dividend is payable on October 12, 2021 to shareholders of record as of September 15, 2021. The ex-dividend date is September 14, 2021.

The new annualized dividend rate is $3.60 per share, representing a yield of 7.4% based on Altria’s closing stock price of $48.65 on August 25, 2021.

Today’s dividend increase reflects Altria’s intention to return a large amount of cash to shareholders in the form of dividends and is consistent with Altria’s long-term objective of a dividend payout ratio target of approximately 80% of its adjusted diluted earnings per share. This increase marks the 56^th dividend increase in the past 52 years. 

Since I own 68 share of Altria Group, this change will increase my 12 month forward dividends by $10.88

Dividend increase #22 of 2021 : New Residential Investment Corp

New Residential announced today that its Board of Directors has declared an increased third quarter 2021 common stock dividend of $0.25 per common share. The third quarter common stock dividend is payable on October 29, 2021 to shareholders of record on October 4, 2021. That is a 25% increase, NRZ is bouncing back nicely.

New purchase : Pembina Pipeline Corp

Continued to pump-up my Pembina Pipeline Corp (TSE:PPL) position by adding 11 shares at CAD 39.51 per share. I now hold 67 shares of Pembina Pipeline Corp.

Sievi Capital to merge with Boreo

 Sievi Capital and Boreo are investigating a possible merge to form a new company. Sievi Capital owner would get 40% share of the "new company" share with a 42% premium on yesterday 17.8 price. Merge deal is planned to be closed during September if everything goes ok. Nice premium, too bad my position is quite small on this

New purchase : Gladstone Investment Corporation

New position in portfolio initiated with a purchase of 30 shares of Gladstone Investment Corporation (GAIN). 

Gladstone Investment Corporation is an externally managed, closed-end, non-diversified management investment company. The Company's investment objectives are to achieve and grow current income by investing in debt securities of established businesses that it believes will provide stable earnings and cash flow to pay expenses, make principal and interest payments on its outstanding indebtedness and make distributions to stockholders that grow over time, and provide its stockholders with long-term capital appreciation in the value of its assets by investing in equity securities, generally in combination with the aforementioned debt securities, of businesses that it believes can grow over time to permit it to sell its equity investments for capital gains. It has investments in sectors, such as chemicals, plastics, and rubber, and home and office furnishings, house wares, and durable consumer products, among others. Its investment advisor is Gladstone Management Corporation.
